Keio University in Tokyo, Japan, has invited 1-5 BSN and/or ABSN students to participate in a virtual short-term exchange January 31 – February 4, 2021. The purpose of the exchange is to provide educational opportunities for nursing students to learn and discuss challenges for an aging society as a global health situation and the role of a nurse is in this issue.

Most parts of this event will be held asynchronously via recorded sessions, and every evening at 10 PM PST, students from Japan, China, and England will convene for a one hour virtual session together to discuss the day’s modules and learning. The BSN Curriculum Committee has approved this virtual experience and is willing to support students while they complete the online learning sessions.
